Great Saturday Launch at Mesquite Groves Park

We had perfect weather and another great launch site found by Guy Smith. The Launch area is rectangular East/West on the long dimension and is at least 1/2 mile long. (Guy knows the dimensions better than I) There were 10 flyers, and about nine observers to see what was going on.

The winds were light, but variable, and the temperatures made for a great outing. I lost count of the number of rockets launched, but there had to be 20 or so unique rockets launched over a couple of hours. A great time was had by all!!

We liked the launch area so well, we plan to return to this area for the monthly park launch every other month, alternating with the Phoenix Park we launched from last month.
